How far in advance should I place my order?

For all of our cakes available on our website, these only require 2 days notice. We recommend ordering at least 1-2 weeks in advance for custom cakes.

For wedding or large event cakes, 4 weeks is best. For an urgent order, fill out the Custom Enquiry Form or send us a DM on Instagram.

Do you used boxed cake mix or make your cakes and cookies from scratch?

All of my cakes and cookies are made completely from scratch. Over the past few years, I’ve carefully developed and perfected my recipes through extensive testing, both personally and with taste testers. I’ve refined each flavour to achieve the perfect balance of texture, flavour, and moisture. Every product is homemade with attention to detail and quality you can truly taste.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes, delivery is available for an additional fee based on distance. Usually priced at $2 per kilometre, starting at Mount Vernon, 2178. Depending on circumstances, pick up can be arranged from Panania (2213) or Pyrmont (2009).

Can I pick up my order?

Yes! Pickup instructions will be provided once your order is confirmed. Pick up is from Mount Vernon 2178.

How should I transport my cake safely?

Keep it flat on the floor of your car (not on a seat), and avoid direct sunlight or heat. An information card is included when you get your cake.

Do your cakes contain nuts?

Some products may contain nuts or be made in a kitchen that handles nuts. Please inform us of any allergies.

How should I store my cake?

Store in the refrigerator until 1–2 hours before serving. Cakes must come to room temperature before eating, so they can soften. The fridge makes cakes stiffen up, and become too firm.

Do you offer refunds?

Deposits are non-refundable. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

We offer free pickup from Day Bakes HQ. Simply select your preferred pickup date and time at checkout.

Delivery

We deliver your orders for an additional fee. For delivery on orders, please DM us on instagram to enquire about delivery cost and availability.

Order Cut-Off Times

To ensure your order is ready on time, please place your order at least 48 hours in advance. For custom cakes not already on out website, more time may be needed to order and acquire required supplies.
